A) Market Access and Business Facilitation

The working group will evaluate in the bi-regional negotiations based on the MEBF recommendations given in Buenos Aires and Madrid, and it will recommend additional action to move faster into market access possibilities. The group will thereby reflect on the WTO Cancun meeting and give special focus on business facilitation measures.

A) Acceso a Mercados y Facilitación de Negocios

El Grupo de Trabajo evaluará, en las negociaciones bi-regionales basadas en las recomendaciones de MEBF  de Buenos Aires y Madrid, y recomendará la acción adicional para acelerar las posibilidades de acceso a mercados. El grupo reflejará acerca de la reunión de la OMC en Cancún y dará el enfoque especial en medidas de facilitación de negócios.

B) Investments

This workshop aims at the discussion on general aspects of investments, and, in details, on infrastructure and energy projects, privatization and financial services projects in Mercosur countries that could contribute to the increase in  the interest of European investors, SME cooperation and to identify regulatory difficulties and possible financing supports. It also focuses on the facilitation of investments in Europe by companies from Mercosur. Experts from IDB, the World Bank and other Development Agencies could be invited.
