Brasília - The Prime Minister of Spain, José María Aznar, who is in Brasília, will be received at 11:30 A.M. by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, at the Itamaraty Palace. Span, according to Foreign Relations Ministry information, is the second biggest investor in Brazil. According to the ministry, "the total stock of Spanish investments in the Brazilian market surpassed, in 2002, $25 billion, with emphasis in telecommunications, finances and in energy."

The meeting between the two presidents will be followed by a lunch and, at 2:40 P.M., both will make a statement to the press. Lula and Aznar will meet again during the closing of the 4th Plenary Meeting of the Mercosur European Union Business Forum, at Hotel Blue Tree Park. Aznar will leave to São Paulo at 8:30 P.M.
